Part of my first original release, the collection “A Mother’s Love” was painted after bedtime. This series of watercolour paintings illustrates how a mother’s love exists across species.
Matriarchs of their herds, elephant mothers are pregnant for 2 years before birthing their calves. They are excellent protectors and teachers. Every night I would kiss my children goodnight and then paint. I hope those feelings of connection and love shine through in this piece.
